FEES:

My services are personalized to the psychological and medicinal needs of each patient.  In most cases these visits are partially or completely reimbursable by health insurance coverage, for which I would be considered an out-of-network provider.  I supply billing receipts and any other requisite information mandated by your insurance plan.  On a case-by-case basis I may also offer monthly payment schedules for patients lacking insurance or whose health care provider does not cover mental health treatment.

I do not accept health insurance directly; this is because insurance providers’ contractual obligations severely restrict the time available for each patient.  Insurance billing procedures also limit my ability to assure patient confidentiality.  I specialize in delivering individually tailored, quality psychiatric services to each of my patients.  It is therefore essential that adequate time be allotted to gain a true understanding of the unique difficulties they experience.  Equally important is the ability of my patients to speak freely and confidentially.

Each treatment experience begins with an in-depth 90 minute multi-dimensional screening aimed at evaluating your conditions and circumstances.  This is generally followed by continuing sessions on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, and with variable individual time frames depending on the nature of your symptoms, requirements and personal availability.  There is no charge for prescriptions.  Fees are collected on a session by session basis.  Cancellation of scheduled appointments requires a 24 hr. notification window to avoid charging your session.
